Supreme Court Debates Striking Down Whole Health Law – NYTimes.com

America is the only first world super power without nationalize healthcare for it’s citizens. President Obama sought to change this situation in 2010 by signing into law the Affordable Care Act. Now two years later after 26 states  decided to file suit against the law the Supreme court has begun to deliberate over its legality and the consequences of repealing Obama’s signature legislation.

This type of legal challenge is rare, and really will change the face of the American healthcare system, for better or worse, its all yet undecided. Though in the last day  of oral arguments this article reveals a clear issue the judges face if they decide to repeal the law entirely. Doing so would remove parts of the act that are already in effect and helping millions of american families grapple with the cost of every increasing insurance premiums as well as uncovered children who were either too older or already  too sick to get coverage prior to the law’s inception.

What will the judges decide? We’ll know 3 months from now, but what do you think is a fair resolution to this problem of providing affordable healthcare to all Americans? Let me know!
