I often send my students links to interesting articles and videos around a particular theme.
I believe that sharing these links with my online community could be of some benefit, so today and for the next few weeks I’ll be posting various lesson topics that brought about lively conversion between myself and my students.
In this post I want to focus on the themes of adaptive learning start ups as well as the future of online education.
As many of my students take lessons with me online they find this topic to be particularly interesting.
Below are a few links to videos and articles around these themes:
The Knewton Adaptive Learning Platform – YouTube
Introduction to DreamBox Learning – YouTube
Adaptive eLearning – It would be cool if… – YouTube
Daptio: the SA startup personalising education with adaptive online courses | ventureburn
Do you think that online education platforms like the currently in vogue, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC’s) from Coarsera, as well as online adaptive learning services like those provided by Knewton, will become dominant forces in the education sector?
Let me know what you think!
